Richmond, Virginia’s post-music mages Snacktruck have unveiled four songs from their upcoming CD, entitled “Spacial Findings 1-7″ for Rorschach Records. You can stream “Gravithorn,” “Presence Charm,” “Second Level,” and “Blooms (Sweet)” on the band’s MySpace page.

Rorschach Records released the “Spacial Findings” 7” late last year, which can still be found in stores or beneath many a pile of Dutchmaster guts and empty Mountain Dew bottles. The forthcoming CD version of “Spacial Findings” will feature the four songs from the 7” plus three new tracks, including a remix of “The Economist/The New Yorker.”

You can also check out a rather epic video for “Wipeout Hideout” on YouTube here.

The band will also be making an appearance at THE FEST 8 in Gainesville, FL over the upcoming Halloween weekend.

Snacktruck counts members of Ultra Dolphins, Brainworms, and VCR amongst their ranks, uniting to mix elements of math rock, prog rock, and all things virtually mind melting. The four-piece consists of two drummers, a bassist and a guitarist, and has gained comparisons to the technical wizardry of Don Caballero and Battles, the lush, spanning soundscapes of Russian Circles, and the electronic spasticity of Trans Am.

Snacktruck previously released an album entitled Harpoon on The Perpetual Motion Machine in 2004.
