Dear Landlord post live video for “I Live In Hell” and announce more US tour dates with Off With Their Heads!

DEAR LANDLORD is currently on their last leg of their first European tour and have announced a US run with Off With Their Heads including a stop at Insubordination Fest.
The band will be supporting their debut album, Dream Homes, released last year on LP/CD courtesy of No Idea Records.

Everything Sucks TV recently captured an amazing live performance of Dear Landlord playing to a ruckus crowd at The Fighting Cocks in Kingston, UK. You can check out the band performing “I Live In Hell” from their album Dream Homes here.

Summer in October (Jeremy Silveira) has also just posted video of five songs from the March 5th Dear Landlord show at The Atlantic in Gainesville, FL. You can head over to his site to check out most of the set.

Dear Landlord consists of Zack (Guitar/Vocals) and Brad (Drums), formerly of Minneapolis pop-punk legends Rivethead. Zack also plays in House Boat and Off With Their Heads, while Brad also plays in The Gateway District and The San Diego Chargers. Brett (Bass/Vocals) and Adam (Guitar/Vocals) also pull double-duty in power-pop superheroes The Copyrights.

Dear Landlord previously released a split 7” with Chinese Telephones on Recess/It’s Alive Records and a split 7” with Off With Their Heads on No Idea, both in 2007.

DEAR LANDLORD is heading overseas for their first European tour. The band will be supporting their debut album, “Dream Homes,” released last year on LP/CD courtesy of No Idea Records. The first round of dates is listed beneath the “more” button below, with more confirmations expected in the coming weeks.

Harvest of Hope Fest announces third round of confirmations!

hoh_2010_logo_blog3The second annual Harvest of Hope Fest (HOH Fest) has announced another round of bands confirmed for their multiple-stage music festival that will take place March 12th – 14th in sunny St. Augustine, FL.

Added to the already impressive lineup will be High on Fire, Kid Sister, Gringo Star, Port O’Brien, We Are The Union, Cheap Girls, Avi Buffalo, The Dig, Yelawolf, Young Brother, Barnaby Jones, The Duppies, Umoja Orchestra, Sunbears, Liquid Limbs, The Takers, Glorious Johnson, Bent Left, No More, Cassette, Antarctic, Toby Foster, Paleface, The Pauses, The Attack!, Premadonnasaurs, Scum of the Earth, Towers of Hanoi, Company Man, Lighthouse Music, The Ones to Blame, The Cougs, The Ex-Boogeymen, Superfish, 3rd Stone, Made of Hemp, Mindrise, BLORR, and Christina Wagner.

Harvest of Hope Fest recently announced a diverse roster of national and international acts confirmed including Billy Bragg, Dr. Dog, The Mountain Goats, 7 Seconds, Leatherface, Rogue Wave, Delta Spirit, Senses Fail, Anti-Flag, Dead Prez, Kimya Dawson, Dead Confederate, Torche, Strike Anywhere, Anvil, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Dr. Octagon AKA Kool Keith, Small Brown Bike, Portugal. the Man, Black Sheep, Danielson, Man Man, forgetters, and over 150 more artists joining together to raise awareness to the plight of migrant farm workers! Harvest of Hope Fest is the only festival of its kind that has such a large group of musicians donating their time and performances to charity. Three-day tickets are on sale now and will rise in price as the festival draws closer. This will be the last week to get tickets at the early-bird price of $39.50. From February 12th to March 11th, they will jump to $49.50. Walk-up 3-day tickets will be $60.00. Single day tickets will be available for $25.00/day in advance and $35.00/day weekend of. Three-day camping passes are also now available at $19.50/person. A small number of VIP passes are available at $99.50 per person. The VIP pass includes access to the VIP camping area, a three-day festival pass, and extra surprises.

Proceeds from the charity fundraiser festival will benefit the Harvest of Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides emergency and educational aid to some of the hardest working and often overlooked people keeping our agricultural economy moving – migrant farm workers. Harvest of Hope distributes funds to migrant farm workers and their families to help pay for food, medical services, clothing, rent, educational scholarships, and more.

Off With Their Heads announced two new splits and more tour dates!

owth_live_blog1Off With Their Heads have announced plans to release two new split releases on No Idea Records. The first will be a split 6” record with labelmates No Friends. Off With Their Heads will be covering “Field of Darkness” by Pegboy. No Friends will be covering “Another Wrong” by Dag Nasty.

The second will be a split 7” with New Jersey’s Detournement. Each band will contribute an original acoustic song as well as one cover song. Off With Their Heads will be covering “Princess” by recently reformed Gainesville punk legends and labelmates Panthro UK United 13, while Detournement will be taking on “Talkin’ Bout a Revolution” by Tracy Chapman.

Until then, the band continues their tireless conquest of the road in support of their critically acclaimed album “From the Bottom,” released on No Idea Records, which found its way onto many writers top picks of 2008!

On this run, the band will be sharing the stage with The Queers, Dear Landlord, The Slow Death, and Cobra Skulls, as well as an appearance at Harvest of Hope Fest 2010 in St. Augustine, FL.

Dear Landlord leak another new track from upcoming debut LP!

dl-cover-blog-smallDear Landlord have leaked the song “Landlocked” from their upcoming debut album, “Dream Homes,” for No Idea Records. You and find the new song as well as three other previously leaked tracks streaming on the band’s myspace page.

“Dream Homes” will be released on June 30th on LP/CD. To celebrate, No Idea Records is giving away a bonus 7” featuring exclusive unreleased material with hand screened covers. This 7” will only be available to people who pre-order the LP before June 15th.

The band is also heading out on the road this summer to support the new album. The first run they will head to Insubordination Fest with their better looking kissin’ cousins, The Copyrights.
