Wednesday, August 25th, 2010
Gainesville’s Young Livers are embarking on a tour today up the East Coast to do a run of Canada with Against Me! and The Flatliners. On their way, they will be playing dates with friends Mouthbreather, Bridge & Tunnel and Iron Chic.
The band will be supporting their current album, “Of Misery and Toil”, released this past spring on No Idea Records.

Alternative Press recently launched a premiere of the video for the title track of the new album. You can head over to AP to check out the video for “Of Misery and Toil.” The video consists of still photos shot by their good friend Brian Keheller on the Young Livers/OK Pilot pre-FEST tour last October.
Young Livers recorded the album last year at Satellite Recordings in Ventura, CA with Armand John Anthony, also responsible for the auditory violence committed on 2008’s Glass And Ashes “S/T” album. Drums were re-tracked in December ’09 with Ryan Williams in Gainesville, FL. Williams then re-mixed the record and passed it along to New Alliance Mastering for a finished product.
“Of Misery and Toil” follows the band’s critically acclaimed debut album, “The New Drop Era”, released in 2007 by No Idea Records and Kiss of Death Records. You can still stream The New Drop Era in its entirety on the band’s Punknews.org profile pages.
