Worn In Red have leaked another new track from their debut album for No Idea Records. You can stream “Mise En Abyme” from their forthcoming album “In The Offing” on the band’s MySpace page. The band previously leaked “Piled Like Bricks” and “When People Have Something To Say,” also on their MySpace page.
“In The Offing” will be their first release for No Idea, on the heels of last year’s split 7” with Benard, a split release between Atlanta’s Alaska Records and No Brakes Records. Expect the album to see the light of day in early November 2009.
Worn In Red hail from Richmond, VA and have garnered comparisons to Planes Mistaken for Stars, Four Hundred Years, Frodus, Glass and Ashes, and Sleepytime Trio. The band is planning a tour on their way down to THE FEST 8, dates for which can be seen below. They’re also playing a Saturday night after-show at Richmond’s Best Friends Day.
