Orlando’s VIRGINS will be entering the studio on February 11th to start work on their second LP, the follow-up to 2008’s “Miscarriage,” released by Kiss of Death Records. The sophomore album is tentatively titled “Animals” and will find the band once again headed to Louisville, KY to record at Headbanging Kill Your Mama Music with Lords’ Chris Owens. Virgins have already sealed a blood pact with Tampa’s Kiss of Death Records to release the album, as well as a teaser 7” in the months prior to the album’s release. Afterwards, they’re also planning a split 7” with NY’s Stolen Parts on No Idea Records.
Virgins will make appearances at Harvest of Hope Fest 2010, from March 12-14th, and at Rad Fest in Wilmington, NC, May 14th-15th. Plans are currently in the works for runs up the East and West Coast, as well as a European tour, later in 2010.
