Issue Oriented Podcast Episode #41 w/ Mike Hale

Thursday, March 26th, 2009

Issue Oriented Podcast is about as top notch as punk rock podcasts could possibly be, and we are incredibly stoked to be checking out a new episode this week. This time around, Ronen sat down with Mike Hale of In The Red for a fascinating interview that covers a lot of touching, personal issues. The audio’s a bit hairy due to a corrupted computer file, but hey, this is punk rock.

The entire episode, as well as other past episodes, can be streamed here.

The episode also features an in-depth interview with Propagandhi and tight jams from Bridge & Tunnel. Party on, New Jersey.

Thunderclap Supergenius launches with Austin Lucas, Josh Small, and Tim Barry

Thursday, March 26th, 2009

TCSG (Thunderclap Supergenius) has recently launched a Vimeo page and posted 6 videos from Tim Barry, Austin Lucas, and Josh Small that were filmed at an intimate session in LA while the three were on tour together. The videos are great! They look amazing, sound fantastic, and few of the songs have never been released.

Thunderclap Supergenius is a directing team comprised of Mario D. Framingheddu and Kyle Walling. Their music video directing credits include Six Feet Under, Off With Their Heads, One Small Step For Landmines, and Madison Bloodbath, among others. Their new show, TCSG, was created out of too much free time due to an awesome economy, and what they felt was a need for promotional video content for the musicians that they are fans of. TCSG is simple. Intimate performances shot on location. One Camera. One Mic. One Take. That’s it.

Austin Lucas recently released “Somebody Loves You” care of Suburban Home Records.
